This lease is located in WMU(6G) and is less than 20 miles from Watertown and Ft Drum, New York. This property consists of 102 acres of nice woods, 54 acres of crop field and 29 acres of thick brush being turned into future pasture. Landowner stated he sees deer, turkey and geese regularly in the crop fields. The woods are holding a lot of snow and ice so could only look at the edges. There are established trails throughout the wood lot. The 29 acres of pasture is about half brush-hogged and has a nice elevated box blind sitting 100 yards off the main woods (see picture and use at own risk). The landowner plans on running 20 heifers till October in newly created pasture. Landowner stated a hunter last year shot 2 deer out of box blind, one a nice 9 point buck. The field edges hold a lot of oak trees. Posting of the property is allowed. ATV use and camping are allowed ( get with landowner for parking spot). No driving on crop fields and no trucks off hard road (ATV/UTV okay). Property is pretty flay and will be easy to get around on once the snow and ice are gone.
